Itinerary

Ho Chi Minh City (former Saigon) is the most dynamic and modern city of Vietnam. Saigon is the name of a fantastic river flowing through the city.

During the 1960s and early 1970s, Saigon was the Pearl of the Orient, which flourished  under  the  American  occupation. In more  recent  times,  it  was  the  seat  of  the  South  Vietnam government until the events  that led to the country’s reunification. Today, the old mixes seamlessly with the new and you can wander through timeless alleys to incense-infused temples before catching up with the present in designer malls beneath sleek skyscrapers.

Meet and greet upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport by our Guide and transfer to Hotel for check-in.

Enjoy a half-day city tour in Ho Chi Minh. Highlights include the photo stops at the Reunification Palace, War Museum, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. Visit Ben Thanh market and Ngoc Hoang Pagoda

HO CHI MINH – CU CHI TUNNELS

Depart for Cu Chi tunnels. Our tour guide will give you an overview introduction of Cu Chi Tunnels and its legendary history. Enjoy the scenic drive northwest towards the Cambodian border. Today you will get to explore a section of the network of some 125 miles (200 kilometers) of subterranean passages and rooms.

Upon on arrival, we will watch a short documentary film about this tunnel tell you how about the histories and how fierce the war happened. Then the tour will help you to learn the pivotal part they played in the war such as trap doors, and climb inside to see where the Viet Cong built storage facilities, weapons factories, kitchens.

Afterward travelers can try local special food are rice tapioca & hot tea which was main food during the war. Visitors can try to fire off an AK47 or M16 or machine guns at the nearby shooting range.

HO CHI MINH – MY THO (MEKONG DELTA)

After breakfast and check out hotel, our guide and driver will take you out of HCM City onto some beautiful country roads to My Tho Town in the Mekong Delta, known as the “rice bowl” of Vietnam, this region produces most of Vietnam’s fruit, rice, and coconuts … It will take 2 hours to get to My Tho Town.

Firstly, you’ll visit Vinh Trang Pagoda which is decorated with mosaics made of broken pottery.

Next, you’ll take a boat ride along the Mekong river to view fishing villages. You will stop in Thoi Son islands where you can enjoy seasonal fruit, honey tea and delicious coconut candies and ‘Southern Vietnamese – Cai Luong folk music” performed by locals, take a rowing sampan. After visiting by boat trip, you will come back the pier, and transfer to Mekong Restaurant to having a lunch with local dishes in a beautiful garden or will have lunch on island.

Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh.

HO CHI MINH – FLIGHT TO SIEM REAP – TONLE SAP VILLAGE BOATRIDE

 

Morning after breakfast departure to Cambodia by afternoon flight FROM Saigon to Siemreap. Arrival at Siemreap followed by Lunch and further Checking to the Hotel

In the afternoon, starting of tours to exploring the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Take a traditional wooden boat for a ride on the Tonle Sap Lake, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. During your boat ride through Chong Khneas, you will see ordinary Cambodians going about their daily life in the floating village. Your boat will briefly enter the edge of the Great Lake before docking with the Tara – the biggest boat on the Tonle Sap Lake. We will see a fishermen’s “floating village” with floating schools, floating police station, etc. It is same as a big village floating on the lake, and the “village” move from place to place following water levels and current.

Overnight in Siem Reap.

SIEM REAP – ANGKOR WAT TEMPLES – SUNSETVIEW

 

World Heritage Temple Tour

Have breakfast in hotel. Tour guide pickup to visit Angkor Wat Temple is the “7th Wonders’ of the World” and the world largest temple with excellent masterpiece of carvings, sculptures and perfect structure. Angkor Wat is the symbol of Cambodia tourism.  Afternoon will continue to visit the impressive South Gate of Angkor Thom City Complex which includes:  Bayon Temple (Giant Buddha Face) is the second main temple of Cambodia after Angkor Wat. Bayon has become one of the most recognizable images connected to classic Khmer art and architecture.  Next continue to explore Ta Prom Temple is another fabulous temple covered by dense tropical forest. Its state of ruin is a state of beauty, which is investigated with delight and left with regret. Ta Prohm is also a place where famous Hollywood movie Tomb Raider Movie starred by Angelina Jolie was filmed.  Last one visit and enjoy watching nice sunset (base on weather) at Pre-Rub temple.  Back hotel.  Have dinner in restaurant.

KULEN PARK – 1000 SCARED LINGAS RIVER – DEPARTURE

 

Kulen National Park – Sacred 1000s Lingas River

Have breakfast in hotel. Leave hotel and drive 58kms from Siem Reap town to the north of province to visit the sacred hilltop, the home of God. Mahendraparvata is considered a holy mountain in Cambodia of special religious significance to Hindus and Buddhists who come to the mountain in pilgrimage. It also has a major symbolic importance for Cambodians as the birthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire for it was at Phnom Kulen that King Jayavarma II proclaimed independence from Java in 804 CE. The Kulen National Park contains many sites of natural and historical interest. A magnificent waterfall dominates the forest terrain and draws countless local visitors on weekends and national holidays. Visit the River of a Thousand Lingas-The cult of worshipping carved in the riverbed which represent to Hindu God of Shiva. Walk via along flight of steps to visit Biggest Reclining Buddha Statue housed on a massive boulder which is believed as The Holiest in the Country.  A viewing platform at the top affords sweeping views of the surrounding jungle and hillsides. You enjoy the picnic local food on mountain. Then Enjoy and then take the nice photos of Nicest Waterfall in Cambodia.

Late afternoon will return to Siem Reap town and a short local village names BanteaySrey Village to see inhabitants make natural palm sugar and other daily usage products.  Back Siem Reap town for departure.
